Ernesto Romero is the Senior Director of Business Development for the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. He Joined the business development team in February of 2021 to expand SVLG's outreach and scale out the network of member companies. He has closed sales deals with Fortune 500 companies such as Amazon, Visa, and Microsoft. Additionally, he is coordinating the 100 Startups Initiative to support female founders and entrepreneurs of color through the SVLG Launch Circuit. Before joining SVLG, Ernesto worked as a Financial Analyst at a Real Estate Investment firm in Miami, Lionheart Capital, where he collaborated closely with the Director of Operations & Chief Financial Officer to oversee over 1.2M sqft of commercial real estate. Ernesto graduated from Villanova University's School of Business where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Raised in Florida, Ernesto is a bilingual business leader in Spanish and English. In his spare time, Ernesto enjoys biking, playing tennis and being out in the open water.
Pedro David Espinoza is a multifaceted entrepreneur who has made significant contributions in various fields. As a TED speaker, entrepreneur, AI investor, and author, he has demonstrated a diverse range of skills and interests.
At the age of 19, Pedro founded SmileyGo, an app that helped companies invest smarter, and later founded Pan Peru USA, a venture that empowers women to become entrepreneurs. His book, "Differences That Make A Difference," attracted contributions from notable CEOs and received the Latino International Book Award.
Educated at Berkeley, Stanford, and Harvard, Pedro began his career as a mechanic during his teen years. He has given numerous keynotes on grit, sharing his entrepreneurial story, and has been recognized as a Latin Business Leadership Honoree by the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
Pedro's influence extends beyond his professional achievements. He has served on the board of directors of ActAware, Notre Dame De Namur University, Silicon Valley Tech Academy and other prestigious institutions. He has also received numerous awards, including the NextGen 30 Under 30 Award and the Silicon Valley 40 Under 40 Award.
Through his work with Pan Peru, Pedro has made a significant impact on education and environmental conservation, giving 3,000 children access to STEM education and reforesting 15,000 trees.
